Welcome

There's been a lot of renewed interest in all types of hand crafts which began around the time of the American bicentennial in 1976. Redwork is one of the many forms of embroidery that has seen a major revival in popularity.
Quilters were the main reason behind the Redwork resurgence. As antique Redwork quilts became popular collectibles, quilters were inspired by the old styles that used Redwork to give their work an old-fashioned look.
White muslin or linen remains the most popular ground fabric but the background is also often tea-dyed or coffee-dyed to make it look older.
Today, Redwork patterns are available for machine as well as hand sewing and there are several major themes. Queen Bee Designs' initial Redwork offerings reflect some of those themes – and there are many more to come!

We've had a great response to our offer of free designs featuring the Breast Cancer Pink Ribbon logo. Due to popular demand, we've now have both the .DST and .PES formats available for immediate download.
Click here or on the logo to the left to go to the freebies page and get your design. Both designs feature the pink ribbon, with a bit of a twist.
We've also have a Breast Cancer Pink Ribbon applique on the "Cool stuff" page of the website. It would work great for a commemorative quilt square or full front applique design. Check it out here.
